Vintage Notebook from the 1960s
Size A4
Hello everyone today, I want to show you this Vintage Notebook that was gifted to me recently. I absolutely love it. It is from the 60s, so this notebook is at least 50 years old and I just thought I’d share with you .
Let’s take a look at it together, it is an a4, so the dimensions on it are 8 inches by 11 and a half inches or 20 by 29 centimeters.
It has this gorgeous green pattern on the cover. If you guys know any notebook makers that make vintage looking notebooks like this one, please let me know I absolutely love this type of notebooks that have this old-timey look and feel to them.
It has here’s a cloth binding right there and then, when you open it up, you can see that notebook was actually it was stapled and glued, which is quite interesting most notebooks these days. I think it’s are usually stitched and bound, and not stapled and glued as much.
The graph paper in it is super interesting as well, i’ve never seen graph paper like this before, where the square is actually I’m 5 millimeters by 10 millimeters. So, instead of 5 by 5, 35 by 10, so it’s quite unusual in my opinion.
There’s some writing in it and, as you can see right there, it was used. Someone used it for school and it has about a hundred and ten pages. And you can still see the staples as well. I can find a page or you can see that, I’m sure right there. You can see the staples they’re quite rusty now.
The pages are slightly faded and slightly yellow now, but it looks like it’s acid. Free paper, because the actual paper still in pretty good shape for me, 50 years old.
I just thought I’d share this with you. They take a look at it as well. So this was my quick little entry on this vintage notebook. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave me comment if you know notebooks that kind of look like this, and you want to share that information with me.
