Hello, everyone today, I’m doing a review of the Imagination Pocket Leather Journal, that’s made by the company Sootthi. Alright, so let’s check it out.
This, as I said, is a pocket-sized leather journal. It is quite teeny, it’s really cute. In my opinion, it is made from genuine leather, the colour is I’d, say, dark brown – and here you can see this to chant out the leather and it has this really cool embossing on the front. It’S a permit with the all-seeing eye, and then it says imagination right here
In the back it says Soothi right there, slightly rounded edges here and there’s a really nice feel to it can definitely tell it is genuine leather.
It is a refillable journal. Can see right here, you just swipe this out and the refills are actually quite affordable. I like to really cute little it feather design on the cover right here. Alright pop this back in.
Dimensions, are, let’s see three inches by four point: two five inches or seven point five by eleven centimeters and it’s about half inch deep or 1.3 centimeters deep and it is pretty small. So here is a regular ballpoint pen as a comparison and there it’s like fits perfectly in my hand, and I do not have very big hands. So it’s quite small.
It’s 50 pages and it’s made with handmade cotton paper and the colors just plain white of the paper and the paper is 125gms and it is very eco-friendly because since it’s cotton paper it is Chi free.
Now let me Show you the writing sample right here. Here we have a pencil ballpoint pen 0.4, a milliliter gel pen. This is 0.7 millimeter gel pen and over here, fountain pen, metropolitan medium Diamine Marine Ink, and you can see there is a little bit of feathering with the fountain pen.
In the back there is just the tatical thing, but absolutely nobly through with the fountain pen, so you can definitely use a fountain pen with this paper.
This paper has a lot of texture to it. I’m not sure anyone picks this up. You can see this, so it does give you quite a bit of feedback when you’re riding on it. It’S not a smooth writing experience, but if you like that, you can actually feel when you write, then it’s great paper for that. It’s very rough paper like rustic looking paper,, even there’s a lot of texture. I mean it’s also at the same time, it’s quite flexible, probably because it’s made of cotton. So it’s in the communities really texturally feeling at the same time, there’s still a softness to it. It’s kind of hard to explain it. I really like this paper and I already used to Soothi Journal and filled it up and I really enjoyed writing in it. I’Ve personally preferred writing it with a gel pen, because it gives you a little bit nicer. Writing experience, pin with a fountain pen. It’s stitched.
Let’s see the outside you can see it’s it’s compared to my hand, it’s it’s pretty small, so you’re not gon na, be able to write a novel in this, but I personally would love to take this on my walks like go to walks every day, so I’m really gon Na enjoy to put this in my pocket and just grab a pen and often have ideas when I am out in nature walking, so I love to write them down, and this is perfect size journal for that
it is flexible, so it’ll be nice to have in my pocket, because with hardcover journals, sometimes it kind of comfortable to carry around in your pocket, but this one is nice and flexible, so that was my review of the Imagination Pocket Leather Journal.
