Hello: everyone today, I’m doing a review of this beautiful wooden notebook called my comfort notebook. So you can find this on Etsy. I think it’s absolutely gorgeous it’s fairly small, as you can see, compared to my hand, and also I put a fountain pen right next to it, so you get an idea of how little it is. It’s super cute / absolutely stunning.

This woodwork is very intricate and gorgeous, in my opinion. This is called the wines notebook and it is, as you see, like vines with a green back background, really beautifully painted underneath it this beautiful, green, and here you can see the sides. It’s really creative, with the wood and there’s the hinges that keep the notebook together and here’s the back and again the sides are super pretty and the dimensions are 3.1 by 5.7 inches and then it’s about three-quarters of an inch thick or eight centimetres by 14.5 centimetres and then it’s about two centimetres thick.

So absolutely beautiful, and essentially it is a little wooden box with a magnetic closure. As you can see, then you open it up, and this is what the inside looks like and then you can have it personalized right here. If you would like to – and it gives you a little bit of background of the notebook and then here you can see the writing sample, and this is the actual notebook in here – it’s actually an insert that is, makes it refillable, and there is this really Pretty super soft, great bookmark that you can use for the notebook, for example, like you know, just put it in here and then you can find your spot. I think it is a beautiful gift for somebody. Obviously, you’re not going to write a novel in here or do extensive journaling, but it’s great for poems or little memories, or something really special person that you would like to give to somebody.

And then the size of the paper is 2.3 inches by 5.1 inches or about 6 by 13 centimeters. So, as you can see, it is fairly small and i’m just going to take it out and show you. You can see how here it’s stitched and bound together and it’s uh 54 sheets or 108 pages, and the paper is white and it’s really nice paper quality.

You can see here’s my writing sample with the pencil ballpoint pen, hybrid pen, gel pens, row ball pen and then here’s a pilot, metropolitan fountain pen with diamond marine ink. There is feathering with the fountain pen, so it’s like crazy fountain pen friendly paper. But if you don’t mind the feathering, you have absolutely no bleed through on the other side, and there is hardly any ghosting i mean if you hold it up against the light. You will put this down. You see, there’s barely any ghosting.

So it’s really nice paper quality and it lies super-flat, I’m not sure about how comfortable it is to write in here like if you open it up. I mean you can, but you see like for shorter little poems, but you can also take this outright in it and put it back in the box. So I think it is absolutely beautiful. I think it’s a great gift for somebody who used to do a little magnetic block here so close as you see it’s shut and that’s actually like a fairly strong magnet, so it just doesn’t pop open, and I think this is really really beautiful. The way this is made super pretty so great gift for somebody for little poems or you know a little memory book for, as you know, short writings, makes a great gift for somebody, so I will put a link in the description if you want to find this Notebook on Etsy, if you have any questions, please feel free to leave me a comment.
