Hello, everyone today, I’m doing a review of the Clairefontaine Classic Notebook. So let’s get started,
This is probably the most iconic standard classic Clairefontaine notebook you find this everywhere, especially in Europe. This is like their most basic notebook. That is their most popular one. It’s also the most affordable one, as far as I know, and it comes in different colors.
This is the blue one. It is glued and then clothbound as you can see here the cloth and then the glued pages right there and has a cardboard cover softcover.
It’s a pretty sleek smooth feel to it and it is water resistant because it’s so sleek and it’s a class 1 tannin logo right here and then this is what the back looks like.
It is a standard a5, which means the dimensions are five point: eight by eight point, three inches or fourteen point: eight by 21 centimeters standard a5 size.
It is 90 grand paper open it up. Here we have the white cover page and then this is a rubes notebook, a Buddha’s also available, and blank and grass is some correct and then the lines call the way to the edges. Here is eight millimeter ruling it’s a pretty wide paper. I call this white. I guess it’s not an off-white in this is just a really nice white smooth paper. The route lines are I’d, say it’s like dark blue, properly colored. I really like the coloring off these lines
Then this flat margin at the top here and the bar to the bottom, so rounded edges as you can see, and it has 192 pages or 96 sheets.
Here you can see my right example here. We have a pencil, a ballpoint pen, a zero point. Four millimeter gel pen is zero point. Seven million gel pen – and here was the problem metropolitan medium diamine marine ink . Ten, absolutely no feathering takes the income really. Well, it’s a really nice writing experience on a Content paper with fountain pens.
In the back. There is some ghosting here some see-through, but there is absolutely no plea, true with the fountain pen, so this is really fountain pen friendly paper. My opinion Clairefontaine makes the best paper for fountain pens and then another white cover page here and the most of that cover.
You know this notebook is made in France. It’s a really really high quality notebook absolutely love Clairefontaine notebooks and their paper. As i said, the most basic one, hence the main basic cost out notebook and a really good price on those. Usually, so it’s interesting those feel free to check out the link in the description box.
